Life is not about the number of breaths you take but the number of things that take your breath away. We should live our everyday to the fullest. Till now, I am still trying to be the person who help more, reject less, praise more, criticise less, comfort more, upset less, cheer more, jeer less, love more, hate less...........
And maybe I can succeed one day with the strength given to me by God, the Almighty and also the encouragement and love showered upon me by my loved ones.

Rite of ElectionThank you everyone, I am promoted! I had conscientiously climbed my ladder of faith from an enquirer during the first 3 months since Easter last year to a cathechumen till today. Now I am officially an Elect, the chosen one by God. 2 months of rites of scrutiny and I will be baptised during the Easter Vigil. Then, I will be part of the St Francis Xavier Church (disciples of Christ hor, not the building) and the catholic community. I am proud to receive the direct teachings passed down since the time of St. Peter, the 1st Pope in the Christian history.Today, I attended the Rite of Election (ROE). With 15 churches participating, there are more than 500 cathechumens and 27 candidates (christians of other denominations who wish to follow the cathlolic faith) present in the Church of the Holy Spirit. Tomorrow, there will be another 17 churches doing the same thing at another venue. It was a pity that Archbishop Nicholas Chia was not present due to poor health. May the Lord bless him. Yet, the celebration hosted by Monsignor Eugene Vaz was equally significant and meaningful. The hymns were nicely chosen to suit the event and the whole celebration was full of holiness. Although I was not able to receive the holy communion (Eucharist - The bread(body) and wine(blood) of Christ) yet, I know that the time will come soon and I will be in total reconciliation and communion with the Lord.
