Life is not about the number of breaths you take but the number of things that take your breath away. We should live our everyday to the fullest. Till now, I am still trying to be the person who help more, reject less, praise more, criticise less, comfort more, upset less, cheer more, jeer less, love more, hate less...........
And maybe I can succeed one day with the strength given to me by God, the Almighty and also the encouragement and love showered upon me by my loved ones.

Corpus Christi - The Body of ChristThis morning, I went down to St Anthony Church with Dear's family because it is The Feast of St Anthony. We took quite a while to find since we were not familiar with the area. I even called Meiying to ask for direction and I was really guilty to wake her up. Sorry my friend! There were fun fairs but we did not stay long. St Anthony is the patron saint of lost things. Therefore, I prayed to Jesus through St Anthony so that he could help those Catholics who had lost their faith. Then in the evening, I went down to St Francis Xavier Church to attend the mass. The reason was that there would be a procession after the mass and I was tasked to carry the banner for the Lector ministry. Lectors are people who go up to the sanctuary during mass to read the 1st and 2nd reading. Today's theme was Corpus Christi - the Hebrew translation of the body of Christ. During the priest's sermon, he mentioned how Catholics receive communion when they are not in the state of grace. As we, Catholics, view the holy communion or the eucharist as the exact body and blood of Jesus Christ, many of us fail to experience transformation in our lives. The reason is sin. I felt really guilty when the priest said that. In fact, as we go through our lives, we have sinned many times. During these times, we did not have the consciousness to re-examine our behaviour and only act holy when we go to church. Let us be aware of how we think, feel, talk and act, so that we can be worthy to receive the body of Christ in the state of grace.
