Some Affairs Concluded
A few things just concluded last week. Some big and tedious affairs while some more relaxed and enjoyable.
1) Design 2 Individual Report - After staying overnight in school and working my body off to meet the deadline yesterday, finally the 1st nightmare is over. But now I am left with lots of "injuries" and fatigue. Still recuperating before I gear up to face the 2nd and hopefully last nightmare - Design 2 Group Report. What is exam stress after all this - chicken feet?
2) Watched the long-awaited "The Phantom of the Opera" on Sunday. It was a classic, totally marvellous and splendid. Love the colourful props and powerful vocals of the casts. The waiting and paying was worth it.
3) Finished a series of interview with Sumitomo Chemical Asia, The Polyolefin Company and Achema Pte Ltd after rejected by Shell and Credit Suisse earlier. The interviewer at Achema actually looked at my grades and told me that those deserved at least a 2nd class upper in NTU. He said that the candidates he interviewed earlier from NTU obtained many Cs, Ds and Es and had a 2nd lower. I am a B average. Anyway, I am crossing my fingers for an offer from Sumitomo. It seems like a good company to work for.
4) Watched TMNT last night with dear. It was not particularly funny but I liked the whole feeling about the graphics. It just looked nice and relaxing. Brought back alot of childhood memories indeed.
Although a couple of things are over but relief is still far from here. 2 tests are coming up with still 2 more projects to finish. May God give me the strength to fight with all this.
Final Year Project Poster Presentation
The time came for us to showcase our research projects. About one week before the actual day, Ed and I went to print the posters. We met on sunday at Tanjong Katong Shopping Complex. We were extremely fortunate as there were no shops open except for one. Furthermore, this shop was actually closed on Sunday but because the owner had to deal with a rush job, so it was luckily open for business. Praise to the Lord! Somemore, the price quoted was quite reasonable and the owner was very nice. So after that, I actually recommended my classmates to go there for their printing.
So here are some photos on the final day of poster presentation:

God Is All Around
A few recent experiences that assured me that God sent down his angels to look after me.
1) The night before an interview at Shell (Pulau Bukom), I bought some things and hence got a one dollar coin as change. The usual me would put it into my Bomberman piggy bank when I got home. However, that night when I wanted to do that, I could not find the coin. The next day after my interview at Shell, I was boarding a bus home and realised that my EZ-link card did not have enough credits and so the machine rejected my card. I was thinking "Oh no!" Somehow, when I looked into my wallet, I was able to find the one dollar coin which I did not see the night before. It was just enough for me to reach the Harbourfront bus stop so that I could top up my EZ-link card and carried on my way home.
Thanks be to God.
2) Final Year Project Poster Presentation started this morning and it will last till Thursday. As I had to attend lesson yesterday, I told Edmund to help me put up the poster. This morning when I reached school, I heard a voice calling me to go and check my poster and so I did. To my dismay, my poster was on the floor with the double-sided tape stuck to the front page. After I eventually pulled it off, there left a somewhat obvious mark on the poster and I was really disturbed by that. Yet, I must thank God for the prompting because if I had not went to check, it would be still on the floor now and I would probably be penalised for not putting up the poster.
Thanks be to God.
